Update to our ad-free subscription (Android)

  • Updated

To our valued ad-free subscribers, thank you for being such an important part of our community. Your support allows us to constantly improve our forecasts and build a better weather experience for everyone.

We wanted to let you know about an upcoming change to our subscription pricing. We don't take price changes lightly, and we wanted to be upfront about what's changing and why.

What's changing?

Effective in November 2025, we will be introducing two new ad-free subscription plans

  • Yearly Plan: $9.99 per year. This plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
  • Monthly Plan: $1.99 per month.

Why are we increasing the price?

This adjustment is a direct response to the  rising costs of delivering accurate, real-time weather data you rely on. This modest price change allows us to cover these costs and ensure the long-term sustainability of the ad-free service, so we can continue to be your trusted source for weather without interruption.

Why do you have ads anyway?

Ads allow us to keep the service free for millions of users. They help cover the costs of running, improving, and maintaining the app so everyone can access core features without needing to pay.

What does this mean for existing subscribers?

As a thank you for your loyalty, your current subscription will remain at its original price until your subscription expires. When it is time to renew, you will have the option to renew at the new rate.

I'm a new user. How do I get the ad-free subscription?

New users can subscribe at any time through the app. To subscribe to this ad-free version, please select the profile icon in the top left corner of the app and select Ad Free Subscription.

Please note the ad free subscription only applies to you Google Play connected devices (Phone & tablets) and not our website.

New yearly subscribers can also start with a 7-day free trial.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support. It enables us to focus on our mission: to deliver the most accurate and reliable weather information possible to keep our users safe and informed.
