Mediaroom App decommissioning for Telus & Bell users

We are sorry we had to decommission the Mediaroom TWN app on Telus and Bell.  This product is designed with older technology that was difficult to maintain and upgrade.  We have newer app options that we are working with Telus and Bell to be able to offer in the future.

The Weather Network prefers to deliver a single, custom local forecast to as many communities as it can. Unfortunately, this is not always possible. We are able to deliver local weather because of our strong partnerships with Canadian cable providers, as it is ultimately up to each cable company how many individual Weather Network signals it distributes. However, technical changes to modern cable networks have made it impossible to always distribute a custom forecast signal to every community.

We do truly appreciate your feedback and your patronage, and hopefully we can work something out with Telus to offer another app with more localized content.  In the meantime, our TV app is available on any streaming device and the Google Play store.
